Young athletes from Municipality of Medulin (CRO) and Municipality of Marcali (HU) as well as accompanying sport staff will visit Municipality of Creklje na Gorenjskem to learn and develop skills in winter sports.
Sport event in Creklje na Gorenjskem will be held for 3 days and will offer theoretical and practical insight into different winter sports: skiing and snowboarding for young athletes and insight into available techniques for sport staff that can best serve them in their own coaching and preparation of athletes.
During their stay in Cerklje na Gorenjskem that will last for 3 days sport staff will attend 2 workshops: nutrition for athletes in pre-competition phase and working with young athletes. Sport staff will also attend practical workshops for athletes in order to gain insight into available techniques that can best serve them in their own coaching and preparation of athletes.
Young athletes from Municipality of Cerklje na Gorenjskem (SLO) and Municipality of Marcali (HU) accompanying sport staff will visit Municipality of Medulin to learn and develop skills in water sports.
Sport event in Medulin will be held for 3 days and will offer theoretical and practical insight into different water sports: windsurfing, swimming and diving for young athletes.
During Medulin sport event, sport staff will attend 2 workshops: usage of modern technologies in tracking progress of athletes and mental training.
Sport staff will also attend practical workshops for athletes in order to gain insight into available techniques that can serve them in their own coaching and preparation of athletes. Practical insight will be held using dry method exercises as well as water method exercises. For athletes from Medulin, Cerklje and Marcali a workshop based on nutritional insights will be held as well.
Partners will meet 4 times during the implementation of the project to coordinate, monitor and evaluate the implementation of the project. During these transnational meetings they will use their time together to ensure exchange of best practices in sports.
In order to coordinate, implement, monitor and evaluate the project’s progress it is necessary to conduct cross-border meetings of partners to ensure meeting the objectives of the project.
There will be total of 4 transnational meetings held: kick-off meeting, 2 coordination meetings and 1 final meeting
